My nieces recently moved to a new house and they each picked out thier own colors and patterns they wanted for their rooms. She originally wanted four colors in her chevron pattern, but we got her down to two colors.
I painted the wall all white, making it easier to just pain the teal color.
To start off, I decided to do six big chevrons on the wall. I divided the space and then drew a grid on the wall with squares that were 16 inches apart.
I then taped the diagonal patters, connecting corner to corner of the squares, then painted the area teal.
I would have painted the other walls teal as well to make everything flow, but she was in love with the lime green!
